ONLINE ITALIAN EVENING COURSES – COMMENCING OCTOBER 2021

The Italian Department, UCC, is now offering on-line evening courses, commencing in October 2021. 

These classes will take place via Microsoft Teams.  Teams is an online facility to allow groups meet over video (limited to invited attendees only).  This can be done from any location via laptop, mobile phone etc.  Many of you will have already experienced on-line learning, however, if you are new to this learning platform please be assured that to assist in the transition to on-line learning we will provide informal training on the use of Microsoft Teams. 

Levels on offer:  

ADVANCED (Tuesday, 6-8 pm)

UPPER INTERMEDIATE (Tuesday 6-8 pm)

Classes are scheduled for 24 weeks (48 hours) as follows: 

– Block 1 [10 weeks]:  Commencing week of 4 October 2021; to week of 6 December 2021

– Block 2 [10 weeks]:  Commencing week of 24 January 2022; to week of 28 March 2022

– Block 3 [4 weeks]:    Commencing week of 25 April 2022; to week of 16 May 2022 *Please note: thanks to the PPLI-funded ‘Italian Wave’ programme, fees will be covered for all secondary school teachers of Italian who register for the course.

  • Closing date for receipt of applications:  Thursday, 24 September 2021, by 1.00 pm
